Vehicle

We MUST be informed prior to arrival of any change of vehicle else we cannot guarantee the we will have availability of the correct roof bar fitting and feet kits. This is critical as we are unable to guarantee you will be able to hire a roof box and bars should the vehicle change in advance. There is no additional fee to change the vehicle, it is simply so we can ensure we have reserved the correct fitting kit for you.

Loss or Damage

The hirer accepts liability for a replacement roof box or roof bars or the total cost of repairs should they become damaged whilst in the possession of the hirer.

If any hired equipment is damaged beyond repair, the hirer will pay the cost amount of an equivalent replacement product as selected by Warwickshire Roofbox Hire.

Roof boxes and bars should be returned in the condition that they were fitted. Any damage (including cosmetic as well as functional) will result in a the deposit being retained by Warwickshire Roofbox Hire.

(this is most often caused by hirers forgetting about the additional height and attempting to drive into a multistorey/underground carpark or through a heigh restricted barrier at a car park)

Insurance

It is the sole responsibility to ensure that the equipment is insured and that the addition of any equipment to the hirer’s vehicle does not impede or invalidate their vehicle insurance policy.

Overseas Travel

There is no restriction on where you travel with the hired equipment can travel. It is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure any foreign laws are correctly followed in relation to accessories fitted to your vehicle.

Rental of Equipment

All equipment is hired on, and subject to, standard rental company terms and conditions. This must be signed on the day of collection by the hirer.

If you fail to return the equipment within 10 days of the agreed hire dates, and without communication should you wish to extend the hire period, the hirer will be come liable for a total loss compensation of the full amount that a replacement equivalent product costs.

Failure to return equipment on the agreed day/date will incur additional daily hire costs of £15 per day for per item (roofbox, bars, cycle carrier, trailer)

Complaints

Please email any complaint to info@warwickshireroofboxhire.co.uk and we attempt to address all correspondence within 30 days of receipt.

Pricing

Our rates may increase or decrease without notification due to currency, stock availability or market influences. Warwickshire Roofbox Hire has no obligation to provide the hire at any rate until confirmed in writing, on email, with the hirer at the point of a booking enquiry.

The booking is only valid on the dates agreed between Warwickshire Roofbox Hire and the hirer.

No refunds can be given on any payments made, except for customer deposits, or on any bookings that are unused.

Warwickshire Roofbox Hire must be informed of any cancellations to avoid a charge to the hirer and to allow us to rent the equipment to another customer.

Changes To Your Booking

We reserve the right, at any point and for any reason, to make changes to your booking after initial agreement on email. This could be a cancellation, price adjustment or date change. We will always communicate this to you at the earliest possible chance. If required, all refunds would be made immediately for equipment and deposits if they had already been made to us.

Liability

Hirers will be subject to the terms and conditions of the contract, and the laws of the country where the rental takes place.

Warwickshire Roofbox Hire and its employees accept no responsibility for, and shall not be liable in respect of any loss; damage; alterations; delays or changes arising from civil unrest; industrial dispute; including port authority control disputes; terrorist activity; natural and nuclear disaster; fire or adverse weather conditions; unavoidable technical problems with transport; closure or congestion of ports, roads, motorways; cancellation of scheduled crossings and financial failure of ferries or transport companies in general.

If it is decided that we have any liability to you, for any loss or damage which you may suffer (other than personal injury resulting from the non-performance or improper performance of the services involved in the roof box rental), that liability shall be limited the total cost of the equipment rental maximum.

Any loss, damage or injury caused as a result of the use, fitting or overloading of the equipment is the total responsibility of the hirer. Warwickshire Roofbox hire cannot be held responsible or liable in any way.
